So

I'm home alone until Saturday night at 10PM when I go pick up Roo at the Yakima airport. It's BORING! If I had a job and was gone most of the day or something of the sort it might not be so, but, alas, it tis not true. Today was the first day & I'm already out of books and movies that look interesting enough to catch my attention....
In other news I'm getting over a cold/flu that I acquired while at Orcas this past week. Well, actually the flu started on Saturday, one of those 24 hour bugs. I can't even remember the last time I had the flu. Seriously. It's not even a I'm blocking it from memory, it's just been a really long time.
Today I received a call from Kathy at Carroll Children's Center saying she might use me as a sub next week. Apparently they're all taking time off for the holiday. So I'm keepin' my fingers crossed....and I thought I was going to babysit for one of the girls at church, but her mom and/or grandma never called me so I guess not.

On we go, into summer

So this past weekend myself & my 'rents went to Seattle to help my sista Barbie move her stuff & her fiance into their apartment along with another sista- Valerie & her live in boyfriend Tanner. It's on the second floor. It was HOT! My Gma said I got some sun-in other words, I got the beginnings of a tan. =D We also got to visit with my aunt & uncle, cousin & her boyfriend & his daughter....it's my uncle's birthday tomorrow so we celebrated on Saturday. =) In addition, we did other odd errands and such. It was, all in all, good. We finally went to Ben & Jerry's. =) Val, mom, dad, Tanner & I went for a walk near their house (Tanner & Val's) and we saw baby ducks, middle childhood ducks, frogs, turtles and the tall one legged birds. It was very fun, but quite warm as it was early that same day we helped move.

I didn't get the second job I interviewed for but only 'cause I have to leave for school before it's over.... dang WSU for startin' so freakin' early in the summer! That made me feel MUCH better after my previous interview with EPIC, needless to say....

I might have a job for next year while at school. My schedule being the suckiest it's ever been, might prevent that, but it's still nice to know that the Head Start likes me....seriously though, my classes are all over the place everyday. Now I know what Annie Bananie went through all this past year....

Orcas is in a week & a half. I'm goin' as a teacher this year which is a HUGE change. I'm gonna teach two lessons out of seven... the others will be taught by Terry & Audrey- my co-teachers.

Anyways, life goes on...just hopin' & prayin' for a job.....
