So I left home with a new nickname. Are you ready? It's really good. ;D I'm now "The Honker". Why you ask? I kinda lost my voice. All the way. Thursday it was gone. Period. Yesterday and today it comes and goes in bits & sperts and sounds like a goose honking. Oh and it's so low I'd make a great baritone if it didn't die out every other word. :D Of course it's accompanied by a "wonderful" cough that sounds like I'm hackin' up a lung. It all started Wednesday when I helped mom in her class. Actually unknown to me Barbie brought the germs for it home on her Christmas break. It's a good thing I love my sister. :)
I start up classes on Monday and I prolly won't be able to talk to my profs or classmates. Speaking of which, I "get" to buy books tomorrow. Aren't you excited for me? I just wish I could have stayed home for another month & started class on the 8th of February instead. Now that I know what I'm in for, I'm unsuprisingly unexcited for the new semester to start....

I'm sorry you've lost your voice. That must be one of the most annoying things about winter illness. I must say I'm already ready for spring.
