Today Annie & I tried out a new church in Moscow. Our friend Emily already goes there so we got a ride with her... actually she gets a ride from this older couple that live in Pullman... they're nice. :) This church was SO much like WPC without the HUGE problems we're experiencing, of course. It was like being home back before we had big staff issues.... Anyways, it was quite awesome. The pastor looks like an exact copy my old neurologist.... that was quite amusing. :D The Sunday school was good. The pastor's wife teaches it. We learned about John. Did you know he was the only disciple to die of old age? Crazy, huh? The songs were excellent, the sermon was good... all in all it was a good morning at church. Oh and the choir sang He Never Failed Me Yet. I can't even tell you how many times I've sung that song. It was like coming home....
This semester is CRAZY school wise! I volunteer Monday, Wednesday & Friday, observe kids for two different classes and have one paper and multiple tests each week. I'm really behind on reading, but I decided doing well on papers and tests is better than being up on the reading which is boring anyway. I also need to find a place to live next year.... I don't know when I'll find the time for that although I need to before spring break if not sooner..... I think I'm gonna sleep for a week when I get home for summer break. Seriously. There's way too much stuff to do!
I have a SOC 101 test tomorrow as well as a paper due (paper's done), two tests on Wednesday plus the volunteering tomorrow and I need to go observe some 0-3 year old and do a running record, then write a paper on it... and I need to read for a SOC 101 paper.... one day at a time.
Barbie's getting married on Labor Day Weekend. She was home Saturday and found two wedding dresses she liked. On President's Day Weekend she's coming home and bringing Jordan. I'm going home too, thank the Lord! I'm SO TIRED of school! I assume they'll be doing wedding stuff since it's going to be at WPC with a different pastor obviously....
I'm gonna go eat & then get back to studying until I know my stuff like the back of my hand....hopefully.
As a side note, my desk is TO SMALL! I swear they gave Community Hall the smallest desks on campus! It's very frusterating, especially when your books keep falling off your desk just because you have this weird idea that you might want to have an arm also on your desk as well as some notebooks... just the stuff you need to study for one class! (If you don't believe the smal desk thing, come visit, you'll agree!)
