Bible Verses I like

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refraim,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Ecclesiates 5:2-3
Do not be quick with your mouth,
do not be hasty with your heart,
do not utter anything before God.
God is in heaven
and you are on earth,
so let your words be few.
As a dream comes when there are many cares,
so the speech of a fool when there are too many words.

Psalm 46: 1-2a
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear."

Matthew 6:14-15
For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

Funny and Prayer

A third one of my friends got stuck in my driveway today! (or ditch) It was Jenn and she did better than Annie as she successfully flatened one of my mom's plants that looked dead anyway . . . But at least she wasn't all the way in the ditch. I think everyone in my family excluding mom, dad and Julie have gone into the ditch or come close to anyway. My cousin's done it multiple times. Some of Valerie and Barbie's friends have also gone in the ditch. Each time it's slightly amusing.

My sister Barbara is in Haiti for this whole month so can you keep her in your prayers? She's working in an orphanage for sick babies-HIV, malaria that knid of thing. It's very sad. She's been sick and not geting a lot of sleep.

Awesome poem and more

In my lonely keep-to-myself times,
Hear my sighs, Lord,
For I am tired of going unnoticed and unloved.
In my my fearful I've-been-hurt-before times,
Hear my anxiety, Lord,
For I'm scared to stick my neck out again.
In my grieving words-can't-express-the-hurt times,
Hear my tears, Lord,
For I don't know if I can face tomorrow.
In my angry leave-me-alone times,
Hear my grinding teeth, Lord.
For I'm so blasted mad I could scream!
In my worried knot-in-the-gut times,
Hear my wrinkled brow, Lord,
For I'm burdened today with yesterday and tomorrow.
In my hectic hit-and-run times,
Hear my pounding feet, Lord,
For I'm running late instead of running to you.
In my searching I-don't-understand times,
Hear my shrugging shoulders, Lord,
For I struggle with the whys and hows of life.
In my troubled I've-done-it-now times,
Hear my beating heart, Lord,
For I feel the weight of having failed-again.
In my anxious I-need-action-now times,
Hear my tension, Lord.
For I'm tired of smashing into doors.

-Magazine cutouts-
So we all fit
You can change the world
Be proud
Fulfill yourself
unstoppable
I choose to be smart and capable
Your friend, therapist, advisor (God)
The power of being yourself

All the above Valerie put in a diary she got me for our birthday

I'm REALLY frusterated because this is the fourth time I've written this!

I have a blog!

Do you like the title? It was Julie's idea. It means a gathering of people to discuss ideas in France. Plus they both start with an "S".
Right up front I'm going to apologize for not posting very often because I probably won't.
Anyway, today my mom, dad and I took my car to Tri-Cities' Maaco for a paint job. It's going to still be blue, but a prettier one than as is. While we were there we went to the mall and I got two pairs of jeans for $12.00 each. As we got near Yakima it started to snow! Sad days! When we got back to Yakima we went to the mall here and I got three more pairs of jeans also for $12.00 each. Yea for good deals for frugal people!
On Monday I'm having Annie and Jenn over for a study group because we have a test in biology on Wednesday and Mr. Seveyka doesn't review.
