Friday afternoon to night I went to first pres to help set up the yard sale scheduled for Saturday. I was there for a freakishly looong time! (3:45-7:00) I left before they were actually done setting up. So yesterday I showed up hecka early (7:30AM) which is just wrong for a Saturday, and was there until 2:00PM! I thought it was over at twelve, but obviously was mistaken. You meet some REALLY werid and scary people in downtown Yakima! Lets see, there was the guy straight from the 70s, the deathy pale woman wearing all black, a man with a nonworking leg and arm who wanted to be my best friend (creapy), the two homeless women with missing teeth who hovered over my table and tried to steal from the yard sale, the woman who wanted me to host a Cathie Lee party at my house, and the little girl who could've been a little boy except that she was wearing red and pink and had earings in her ears. During less busy spurts the other kids helping with the sale and I tried on some really scary looking clothes. (A blue and purle blazer, flowered hat for who knows what and a mumu.) That was fun! At 2:00 Greg (the guy in charge) let the Trailseeker families in to take what we hadn't sold for free. (These are poor families from Yakima. He works with their kids.) I got to see Enrique, Lupe and Yolanda who I usually only see on Wednesdays at LOGOS! I also bought a 12 set of plastic cups, a movie, two ordaments and a campbells soup mug which are for when I live on my own.
This morning I was at church from 8:00AM until 1:30PM 'cause we had an extra practice for the Pops Concert during second service and after.
Now on to homework. I have a major group project due on Friday and a Plagues & Peoples book to read.
Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Yeah, I'll try to read the Plagues and Peoples thing tonight. My group met at yvcc last night and stood out in the cold half discussing what we should do for the group thing, half talking about how dorky Roy's car was (pretty dorky, but no match for mine in that department).

Yeesh, those do sound like some frightening people.
Whoa, doesn't the bible tell us to entertain strangers, for by this some have entertained angels, unawares? We never know how they may appear to us, you know?
